An informational site for transsexuals in the UK providing information and health care advice for their specialist needs.

Site changes.

Welcome to the new look 'TGmeds' website, which is very obviously a new design for this site. The basic design of this site hasn't changed in the last four years since its start. But things have moved on, and I've become tired of fighting my way though javascript to try to keep it up-to-date. So, the new design is meant to be clean, clear, minimal and simple, and easier for me to maintain too. I hope you like it?

One thing is soon apparent, although the 'new' links on this page work downwards, the newer pages on the document pages work upwards! Make sense? Have a look and see what I mean.

Finally, after many months and much re-editing the 'UK Hormones' document is now here and available for download. I hope its useful for you and you enjoy reading it.

As I see from my logs people are still downloading the 'UK Hormones FAQ' which was last updated in December 2001, I have decided to remove it as it is so out-of-date and been superseded by the 'UK Hormones' document. Thank you all for your interest in it, but its now reached the end of its life. And because the 'UK Hormone FAQ' html version is version 3.7 of year 2000 I have also removed that for the same reason, its out of date! I've left the link in place for the time being whilst I consider as to how to best have a 'flat' version which can be read online.

Questionnaire

Near the top of this page you will see a 'sub-bar' with the word "Questionnaire". This is a questionnaire that I am repeating from the end of 1999, to see if there are any differences in the results from then to now. It is completely voluntary to complete it, but it would assist me if you do.

Who am I, and What is Here?

Thank you for visiting this site whose webmistress is Sharon Kimble, a former Staff Nurse. (S.E.N., R.G.N.)

Here you can download the 'UK Hormones' document which has been produced using many differing sources of reference. You can also obtain other information of a Medical or Nursing background. The prime aim of this site is to get information to transsexuals, or for people who are interested in transsexualism. But, we are all human beings, and as such our bodies are still prone to various conditions. Therefore more generalised health issues will also be mentioned and information given which will, I hope, help you?

If anyone has any suggestions to improve this site, or requests for articles, then please let me know them by emailing me.
